Gold finished eagle on blackened wreath with worn oak leaves on the high spots.On the reverse, the eagle is secured by two rivets with the maker's mark clearly visiable "C.E. Jucker, Berlin S.W" complete with a classic barrel hinge and round wire catch..Badge is non magnetic as it should be case has Fallschirmschutzen=Abzeichen on faded gold leaf lettering to the lid. Case shows handling wear, and fading but hinge works fine. The decoration measures 42.70 mm (w) x 53.10 mm (h); weighing 38g. The wreath has a slight concave appearance,therefore just very good not mint.
