Early NSKK Dagger

Here's an example of an early pre war NSKK dagger.The blade on this one has age and some old fingerprint stains and strong in out marks .The acid etched "Alles fur Deutschland" motto and "Gebr. Grafrath Solingen" maker mark are nicely executed. The solid nickel scabbard fittings are intact. It continues to retain all four screws. The ball has a small hit. The alloy based, nickel-silver plated crossguards show plating thinning/loss throughout yet retain about 90% plating. The dark brown hardwood grip has  2 tiny chips below top cross guard. The solid nickel eagle is well detailed .N.O .stamped on lower cross guard. The steel based, black enamel painted scabbard shows minor age flakes throughout. It retains about 70% of its original black paint and remains completely dent free! .This dagger shows an authentic well used look showing its 90 odd years of history.
