Dagger by SMF.A really nice example of a 2nd model Luft which was manufactured by
the Stoker edged weapon firm, a company renown for quality with their fantastic wares. The solid Trolon grip has turned an attractive dark  orange .The material remains in excellent condition, devoid of any chips, splits, cracks or missing material.the handle has been wrapped with a strand of decorative springy wire.
That wrap is firmly in place and remains tight into the turned grooves. As for the other components consisting of the pommel,and crossguard, all have taken on an undisturbed patina over their surfaces. And speaking of crossguard, the reverse of it has been personalized with the Luft officers' initials "FK". . The scabbard to this dagger remains straight, void of any bends, dings, or creases. The surface has actually taken on a gold appearance as a result of the factory lacquer which has yellowed over the last nearly 90 years. Both scabbard bands are firmly in place and hold the hanger rings properly. A  perfect factory plated blade completes the description of this edged weapon. It remains full length, straight, void of any sharpening, tipping, or cutting-edge chips. , the king logo, a trademark of excellence with Luft edged weapons in particular, is shown on the reverse of the ricasso. Above it is the Waffenamt eagle stamp.
