Transitional ww1 m16 helmet with reproduction decals.

This is an all original helmet, other than decals.  These were repurposed by the Nazis during World War II, .  The liner is an original M 31 liner,which was common for these helmets along with the M18 helmets .Colour is predominantly black with traces of the original flat green coming out.Has a name written on liner but I can’t make out what this is..Original draw string but unfortunately no leather chin strap is present.This is a very impressive looking helmet and would look amazing in a collection.
