WWII German Krim Shield (Crimea Shield) … for military personnel who fought in the Crimean Peninsula campaign between September 21, 1941 and July 4, 1942. Recipients had to have served in the region for a minimum of three months, participated in a major battle, or been wounded. It was worn on the upper left arm of the service uniform.
