Excellent Police Dress Bayonet, by Carl Eickhorn (Matching)…….An early, matching, untouched set. Maker’s mark of “CARL EICKHORN, SOLINGEN” (mid-1930s) version of the firm’s classic squirrel logo. . Stamped onto the back of the crossguard is a unit mark of “S. KÖ. I. 371”, showing the distribution to the Köln district. The bayonet has is its original scabbard and stamped onto the throat is a corresponding unit mark of “S. KÖ. I. 371”, showing an original matching accompaniment to the bayonet. Polished staghorn grips held in place with 2 Aluminium rivets. silvered police insignia.
