The obverse has largely mellowed to the underlying Tombak base metal, with only traces of the original silver finish remaining ,creating an attractive and aged appearance.
The hollow back displays even toning with more of the original silvered surface evident than on the front.The hardware assembly is of the textbook Otto Schickle pattern, retaining all original components and showing no evidence of repair or alteration.
