WW2 German canteen-Totenkopf Ring

WW2 German canteen-Totenkopf Ring. Marked.These rings were privately purchased by German SS officers & I presume lower ranks if they could afford them.I took this ring to several jewellers to help identify the markings & they could only make out a 9 & a possible arrow.9 being a silver content as they said it was silver.One jeweller said a arrow can mean whom ever took the ring got it stamped to give it a Provence that it was taken & returned to Britain & this does line up with some research I done & also the person i purchased it from saying it was removed from a German officer .As they say tho you buy the item not the story.Ring is in worn condition & does show correct 3 box markings.size would be medium.
