Mismatched WW2 Hitler Youth Buckle & WWI Stamped Leather Combat Belt…..Came to me like this so will sell like this.Buckle is in well used condition .The reverse features a fully intact catch loop and dual-prong adjustment bar. No cracks or repairs. No markings. Heavy-duty brown/black combat leather. Includes the stitched internal leather tongue and the original tear-drop steel hook/stud mechanism which fits the buckle securely.Leather remains structurally sound and intact & a lot softer than one would think . Stamped 100 / JR22 on the leather tongue. This indicates a size of 100 cm and issue to Infanterie-Regiment 22(Imperial German Army, WWI). This set perfectly illustrates the late-1930s/early-1940s practice of recycling durable Imperial German field gear for other uses.
