WWII German Hitler Youth Knife RZM M7/13.(Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co)

An excellent , 100% original mid-to-late period Hitler Youth Knife and Scabbard. This piece features the highly desirable maker stamp from Arthur Schüttelhöfer & Co. (Solingen-Wald), a prominent manufacturer of political and organization blades during the Third Reich.
Manufacturer Code is RZM M7/13
Late 1930s – Early 1940s production (No motto style, matching the standardized RZM era).
Checkered black Bakelite/plastic grip scales with inlaid enameled HJ diamond.
The Hilt is Zinc-based, nickel-silver plated hilt with a single backward-curved quillon.
Blade is Full length with a sharp tip,It shows what i would say is an excellent blade. especially since these daggers were owned by young boys .No aggressive sharpening or structural damage or even scratches. The checkered grip scales are exceptionally clean with zero cracks or chips. The nickel plating shows characteristic age wear and expected thinning/fading near the pommel and high-contact points. The red, white, and black enameled diamond emblem is beautifully preserved, completely intact, andseated nicely in the grip with some movement .The original steel-bodied scabbard retains an excellent amount of its factory black enamel paint finish, displaying minor superficial spidering and minor oxidation spots. It remains completely dent-free.The attached black leather belt hanger is intact with dual secure rivets. Unfortunately the snap is missing the male dome making this dagger priced accordingly.Includes the original leather buffer pad at the base of the blade.
This dagger has a perfectly uniform patina across both the knife and the scabbard.Would have priced this dagger closer to the $1200 mark if not for the missing dome.Have noticed HJ daggers are becoming more expensive in the last 18 months or so,especially reasonable condition ones & most definitely ones with a motto & logo.click on pay by credit card to access after pay.
