An exceptional, textbook example of an authentic wartime winter uniform cap worn by members of the Bund Deutscher Mädel (League of German Girls / BDM), the female branch of the Hitler Youth. Known colloquially as the "Teufelsmütze" (vil's Cap), this piece is in outstanding condition and features a pristine, fully intact factory control label.
Authentic dark blue, heavy-gauge machine-knitted wool featuring the classic pointed pixie-style crown and integrated protective ear flaps.
Accented by two bold, vertical light-grey/white knit stripes flanking the center section face opening.The RZM Tag (Interior): A stellar, museum-grade textile collector feature.
